JURISDICTIONAL ISSUES

The Terms and all transactions entered into and the relationship between You and Arah Labs / House of Arah and any mutual claims shall be governed in accordance with the laws of India, without reference to any conflict of laws principles.

All claims, differences and disputes arising under or in connection with or in relation to the Website, the Terms or any transactions entered into on or through the Website shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, subject to applicable law.

ACCURACY OF INFORMATION PROVIDED BY YOU

You represent and warrant that any information that you provide in connection with your use of the Website is and shall remain true, accurate and complete, and that you will maintain and update such information regularly.

House of Arah reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to accept or decline an order, or any portion thereof, where there is a legitimate reason to do so, including product unavailability, pricing or listing errors, suspected fraudulent activity or inability to fulfil delivery.

The prices displayed on the Website are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and must be paid in INR.

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price, House of Arah may refuse or cancel orders placed for the product listed at the incorrect price, regardless of whether the order has been confirmed or payment has been processed, subject to

applicable law.

If payment has already been processed for an order that is subsequently cancelled by House of Arah, any applicable refund will be issued in accordance with our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.

COLORS

House of Arah strives to display product colours as accurately as reasonably possible.

However, because the colours you see will depend on your monitor, screen, device settings and other factors, House of Arah cannot guarantee that your device’s display of any colour will be completely accurate.

Products made using natural materials, handmade processes or hand-finishing may also exhibit variations in colour, texture, grain, pattern and finish. Such variations are characteristic of the materials and processes used and shall not necessarily be

considered defects.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS, FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS

Every effort is taken to ensure that the Products supplied correspond as closely as possible to the products represented on our Website and in our promotional material.

However, Products may vary due to unique and characteristic variations of natural materials and handmade or hand-finished processes.

We are not responsible for variations that are inherent to the nature of the materials or craftsmanship, including but not limited to:

Product colour and shade may vary from one piece or manufacturing batch to another.
Products may contain natural variations in grain, texture, colour, pattern, markings or surface characteristics.
Product measurements are approximate, and reasonable variations may occur due to manufacturing and finishing processes.
Natural materials may exhibit characteristics such as shade variation, marks, knots, grain variations, minor imperfections and other natural features.
Natural wood may move, expand, contract or change in colour over time due to environmental and seasonal conditions.
Product specifications may vary between product ranges as reflected in their design, materials and price.

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to Product specifications where necessary.

Such changes will not affect the essential characteristics of a product ordered by you.

You may receive transactional, service-related and, where applicable, marketing communications from House of Arah by SMS, e-mail or other communication channels, subject to applicable law and consent requirements.

Opting out of marketing communications will not prevent us from sending essential transactional or service-related communications concerning your orders, account or use of the Website.

LIMITATIONS ON QUANTITY

House of Arah may not offer additional discounts on large orders of a single item or on large orders of multiple individual items.

House of Arah reserves the right to limit quantities on orders placed by the same account, payment method or orders that

use the same billing and/or shipping address, where reasonably necessary.

We will notify you if such limits are applied.

AVAILABILITY, ERRORS AND INACCURACIES

Many of our featured items may be offered in limited quantities and, because of their limited availability, stock may not be refreshed.

When an item featured on the Website is no longer in stock, we will make reasonable attempts to remove or update that item on the Website in a timely manner.

SALES, SHIPPING AND RETURNS

House of Arah may offer various payment methods through its designated payment gateway(s) and other payment service providers. Available payment methods will be displayed at checkout or communicated to you at the time of purchase.

For multiple product orders, products may be shipped together or separately depending on product availability, production status, packaging requirements and logistics considerations.

Any applicable shipping charges will be communicated or calculated at checkout.

House of Arah does not guarantee exact delivery dates unless expressly stated otherwise. Any production, dispatch or delivery time provided by us is an estimate only.

For ready-to-ship products, dispatch generally takes approximately 7–15 business days from confirmation of the order, followed by an estimated delivery period of approximately 7–15 business days, depending on the destination and courier serviceability.

Made-to-order products generally require approximately 20–25 business days for production before dispatch, followed by the applicable delivery timeline.

Customised products may require different production timelines depending on the nature and complexity of the customisation. The applicable timeline will be communicated or confirmed with the customer before the customisation is finalised.

We currently offer shipping within India. Delivery availability may depend on PIN code and courier serviceability, and we may be unable to deliver to certain locations where our logistics partners do not provide service.

We currently do not offer international shipping.

RISK OF LOSS

The risk of loss and title to products purchased on the Website shall pass to the purchaser in accordance with applicable law and the applicable delivery terms communicated at the time of purchase.

COMMENTS / FEEDBACK

INDEMNIFICATION AND DEFENSE OF HOUSE OF ARAH

As a condition of your use of the Website, you agree, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to defend, indemnify and hold harmless House of Arah, Arah Labs and their employees, agents, vendors and suppliers from and against liabilities, losses, investigations or inquiries, claims, suits, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or otherwise relating to:

Your unlawful use of the Website;
Your violation of the rights of any third party; or
Information or material submitted by you through the Website that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

This indemnification obligation shall apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

PRODUCT WARRANTY

House of Arah provides a 1-year warranty on the products sold through the Website, subject to the terms and exclusions set out below.

The warranty applies to defects arising from manufacturing or workmanship issues under normal and intended use during the warranty period.

The warranty covers eligible structural or functional issues that arise due to a manufacturing or workmanship defect. Coverage will be assessed by House of Arah on a case-by-case basis, depending on the nature of the issue, product and circumstances.

Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not cover damage, deterioration or defects resulting from:

Accidental damage, impact, breakage or mishandling;
Harsh, improper, abusive or unintended use;
Failure to follow the care, handling, installation or usage instructions provided by House of Arah;
Exposure to extreme environmental conditions or conditions beyond those reasonably intended for the product;
Unauthorised alterations, modifications, repairs or attempts to repair the product;
Normal wear and tear arising from ordinary use;
Natural changes in wood or other natural materials, including seasonal movement, expansion, contraction, colour changes, grain variations or other characteristics inherent to the material;
Damage caused by negligence or improper storage;
Damage caused after delivery due to circumstances outside the control of House of Arah.

Natural materials may naturally change in appearance over time. Such changes are part of the character of the material and are not considered warranty defects.

Customised Products

Customised products are covered by the warranty where the issue arises from a manufacturing or workmanship defect, subject to the same exclusions and conditions stated in this section.

The warranty does not cover changes to the product arising from a customer’s use, handling, environmental conditions or failure to follow applicable care instructions.

Warranty Claims

To make a warranty claim, please contact House of Arah at info@houseofarah.com and provide:

Order details or proof of purchase;
A description of the issue;
Clear photographs and/or videos of the product and issue; and
Any additional information reasonably requested by House of Arah to assess the claim.

House of Arah may inspect the product, request additional photographs or videos, or arrange for the product to be returned for assessment where necessary.

Following assessment, House of Arah will determine the appropriate remedy on a case-by-case basis, which may include repair, replacement or another appropriate resolution, subject to product availability and the nature of the issue.

Warranty Shipping

For the first approved warranty claim, House of Arah will bear the applicable shipping costs associated with the warranty resolution.

For subsequent warranty claims, applicable shipping and repair/fixing charges may be borne by the customer.

Warranty and Returns

This warranty is separate from and in addition to the rights and remedies available under House of Arah’s applicable Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.

A product that qualifies for a warranty remedy does not automatically qualify for a refund. The appropriate remedy will be determined based on the nature of the issue and the applicable policy.

Nothing in this warranty is intended to exclude or limit any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

READY-TO-SHIP & MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS

House of Arah offers both ready-to-ship and made-to-order products. The applicable production and dispatch timeline will depend on the product ordered and will be communicated on the Website or at the time of purchase, wherever applicable.

Ready-to-Ship Products

Ready-to-ship products are generally dispatched within 7–15 business days from confirmation of the order.

Following dispatch, delivery is generally expected within approximately 7–15 business days, depending on the destination, PIN code and courier serviceability.

These timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Actual delivery may be affected by courier operations, serviceability, high-volume periods, public holidays, weather, transport disruptions, government restrictions or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Made-to-Order Products

Certain House of Arah products are made specifically for the customer after an order is confirmed.

Made-to-order products generally require approximately 20–25 business days for production before dispatch. Following completion of production, the product will be dispatched and the applicable delivery timeline will depend on the destination and courier service.

Customised products may require additional or different production timelines depending on the nature and complexity of the customisation. The applicable timeline will be communicated or confirmed with the customer before the customisation is finalised.

Once production of a made-to-order or customised product has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled, except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed by House of Arah.

Made-to-order and customised products cannot be returned or refunded due to change of mind, personal preference or dissatisfaction where the product has been correctly made according to the specifications confirmed with the customer.

Product Availability

House of Arah may offer products in limited quantities and may discontinue products or temporarily make products unavailable at any time.

An order acknowledgement confirms receipt of your order request and does not by itself constitute final acceptance of the order.

If a product becomes unavailable or an order cannot be fulfilled, House of Arah will communicate with the customer and provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable law and our applicable policies.
